With the announcement that the winner of the Micro and Mini classes over the next 6 races receives a ticket to the Grand Finals in New Orleans, there has been alot of interest from drivers looking to give it a shot. We will see some visitors from Colorado and Southern California participating with us making the classes grow in numbers. Come on out to give it a try.

The new rules will not be in effect until January 2014 in the Bondurant series. As a cost saving measure to exising drivers.

There will be an announcement soon from the series organizers to tell details of what will be expected.

I actually don't like that, it costs a 100 bucks to swap a carb over from 12.5 insert to an 8.5. We are running in another series this year who announced they are running the 2013 rules, along with Nationals. With the mini, that means I still have to run the 12.5 insert locally, and then when we travel, I have to change the carbs to a 8.5 insert. If we have the option to run either than i think that would be acceptable.

With the micro, there really should be no cost, the main change is the fixed float height. Easy change and allows us to run the same tuning locally and be ready for when we travel.
