| The Board has reviewed and approved the 2013 PKRA Spring Series Calendar. Bondurant Rotax Max Challenge races will be run in conjunction with PKRA club races again for 2013.

What is the rain date (if any) for the Sunday Series that ends March 17th? And if the rain date is April 6th (a Saturday Spring race), will that race count as both a rain date for Sunday Series and a regular date for the Saturday Series for anyone doing both? For sure there will be people doing both Saturday and Sunday series
Also, if any of the overlapping Series are to share rain dates, does that mean the rain date for the Saturday or Sunday Series COULD come in the middle of that Series. For example, if the November 4th race had been rained out, the make up race would have been late December or early January (I didn't look it up). That would be in the middle of the the Sunday Series (between race 4 and 5). And if that happened, would there also be a make up race at the end of the Sunday season for a rain out in the last 4 races. In other words it would seem that the make up race for the Saturday and Sunday Series could not be predetermined without having a special make up date for those series which could possibly conflict with a Spring/Fall series weekend. If we piggy back a Saturday/Sunday makeup race with a Spring/Fall race I think you would have to have the make up race in the middle of the Saturday/Sunday series if the rained out race is in the first half or have the make up race at the end of the series if the rain out is in the second half of the season.
And are we planning to have Saturday/Sunday/Spring/Fall series indefinitely or will we be moving everything to Saturday/Sunday or return everything to Spring/Fall? Is there a tentative date to decide? |

| Randy we expect that the Bondurant Rotax Max Challenge will run on the same dates as the PKRA races.
We are working on a survey to send to the members about race day format and the transition to all Saturday and all Sunday seasons. The World Formula drivers are very happy with the change to a winter all Sunday series and a summer all Saturday series.

| I'm new to the PKRA community...
I was at the track last Saturday, the configuration was Full track CW. according to the calendar on this site, the first race will have the Full track CCW. wouldn't it make sense to have that configuration now?
Another question, what are the cofigurations used for the Pro Kart in March and SprinNationals in April?

| We just got done running the last 4 races CCW, so spring races should be CW. Besides, we are getting ready for Gatorz and that is full track CW. |

Spring Race #1 will be Full Track CCW, Race #2 and #3 will be Two Sriaghts CW, due to the two Regional races, each following our club race, will be Full Track CW, and we can not run the same configuration the week prior. But we want to be as close as possible. We will then run Race #4 CCW, which will be our last Sunday race of the Season, then we will switch to CW to finish the season and to start the first 4 races of the Fall season.
The track personnel was asked at the end of the season to run the track CW untill the end of the year. So at the first of the year the track should be set up CCW until after Race #1.

| perfect. Thank for the detailed answer. It all makes sense now. Perfectly set up to give us lots of race time with CW configuration(minus 2 turns)

| Andy at Challenge of Americas does not have a stipulation tha that the venue cannot run the same configuration the weekend before the COA race. We should run the full trakc CW the club race before COA.
