Location: Anthem, AZ | Feb 3rd race conflicts with ProKart challenge race #1 (probably at Adams).. Their race in on the Friday/Sat.. Ours is Sunday.. Also, it is Superbowl Sunday... The one good thing is that it is the week before Challenge of The Americas...... So, too many things going against that day to ensure success. |

| Leads me to this questions how many competitors that run the full PKRA season race the Full California ProKart Challenge?
Superbowl is later in the day/evening?
Only option for February would be to drop the race and push the calendar out to 2 races in May with a rain date in June. There are numerous conflicts in February with SKUSA and Rotax. without having a back to back PKRA race weekends. |

Location: Anthem, AZ | Superbowl is an all day event, not just a game. If the object of your schedule is to be as inclusive as possible, we are starting the season behind the eight ball.
One of the reasons that the 12 or so drivers from phoenix did not race the full season was due to the schedule conflicts with SKUSA.. I would say that there are definitely more SKUSA racers at PKRA than Challenge of The Americas Racers. (remember there is some that race both).. You are intentionally avoiding scheduling over the Challenge Of The Americas (which is smart). The same consideration should be extended to the SKUSA racers. I would not look at who did not show up in the past.. But, remember, that these drivers will want to prepare for the CoTA races and the upcoming two upcoming SKUSA races.... |

| Not trying to be inclusive at all, just wanted to get an estimate as to how many SKUSA racers we have in the midst. Below is a calendar that addresses all of the SKUSA and Challenge of the America Events, it runs late if we have a rain date.

Just a thought, dont you think that more members would attend if we raced once a month rather than twice? It is just super tough on the budget for a lot of folks.. ALL of the california clubs race once a month. It allows for those that travel race to also attend some club racing. There are 10 Phoenix racers that are also racing all of the PKC and proTour races.. There is a much higher likelihood to get us/them to race PKRA for a championship if there wasnt such a big commitment... |

Location: Glendale,AZ | We have run on super bowl sunday in many of the last few years that I organized the schedule. It is a hard one to avoid with all if the other races going on.

| We have on a number of occasions run the PKC race Friday and Saturday and come back to run the PKRA club race on Sunday. It is difficult but possible, it depends on what your focus is. If it is seat time then what could be better than an entire race weekend. |

| Like Kris, I too have run many So-Cal club races on Sat. and PKRA on Sunday. Not saying I'm normal (by no means) but if you want to do something you can make it happen if it is remotely logistically possible.

| Below are the dates proposed in the first post along with all of the SKUSA and Gatorz dates for the first part of the year. What you will see is that we have scheduled around there events as best as we could. We also scheduled our races for the week before any of the events our held at our track to give us a little extra competition and increase our race count.

Gatorz Race #1 January 11-13th - Tucson
Race # 2 January 20th
California ProKart February 1-2
Race # 3 February 3rd
Gatorz Race #2 February 8-10th - PKRA
Race # 4 February 24th
California ProKart March 1-2 at PKRA
Gatorz Race #3 March 8-10th - Fontana
Race # 5 March 16th
Race # 6 April 6th
SKUSA Spring Nationals April 12-14th - PKRA
Race # 7 April 20th
California ProKart May 3-4
Race # 8 May 11th
Rain Date May 18th
We are also negotiating a tire option for the SKUSA racers.

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA | Looks like y'all did a great job of working around a difficult and hectic schedule in the surrounding area. The Spring looks real busy, and there aren't many options. Here's to hoping for a great Spring Series and more and more karts getting out to the track. |
