Can you guys tell me more about the HPV2 class. I would like to know how much do rebuilds cost for the HPV engine and after how many hours? What is the cost of ownership for these engines and is the HPV2 class is competitive? Could you use a blueprinted engine here at the PKRA and would the Engine work with a 2008 Tony Kart EVXX?

KPV2 (previously called HPV) has been one of the best classes over the past few years. Large grids and very competitive.

The EVXX should do well in KPV2 at PKRA. Here is an old ad for a 2008 EVXX that raced KPV2 at PKRA: http://pkra.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1618. I think its the kart that had fastest lap and finished second on March 22nd in 2009.

Ernest I no longer have the engine, but still have the Kart. I have two 2008 EVXX rollers one is $1250 and the other is $1500. One of them we used to compete in this class so the chassis is set up and tuned to race PKRA with that motor. The other we used for Tag Jr. I can also tell you first hand that Don's motor is a fast motor, it has beaten ours many times.
