Welcome to the Phoenix Kart Racing Association (PKRA)
PKRA is a member owned and operated club and facility. Our multiple configuration asphalt track is 3/4th of a mile long and averages 25 feet in width. With 12 turns of various radii and over 500 feet of straight away, it’s a constant challenge for both the novice and expert driver. Classes and Age Groups
Starting as young as five years old and up, we race several different classes ranging from 50 cc to 125 cc engines.
Schedule
The track is open Tuesday through Sunday and both members and non-members are welcome to practice and race at our local series events. Tuesdays are for beginners and instructors and expert drivers are available to help the newcomer. Click here for the calendar.
Arrive and Drive
We also have an “Arrive and Drive” program sponsored by the Bondurant School of Driving which allows you to rent a kart and experience the thrill of karting. Please check the website for more information. Click here for more information.
Fees
Practice fees vary depending on membership status. Platinum members practice for free. Gold members pay a $10 fee (per day). Others pay $35/day which includes a $25 one day membership. If your not a member, just show up, sign-in and pay. If you’ve never driven before, Tesday night is the best time to come check the facility out. Tuesday’s are our beginners day.
Racing fees depend on the series. Club races are $50 for one class (plus an additional $25 for non-members). Transponders are required for racing (not required for practice) and can be rented for $10 if you don’t own one.
There’s also a small insurance fee for crew (or anyone) who wants to go inside the pit area for both practice and racing. Click here for more information.
